Life is simple when you're young. For these two children, paradise is a day spent playing with wet sand, and feeling the waves lap gently against your feet. Taken on the beautiful beach at Palolem, in the south of the favourite holiday state of Goa in southern India. Palolem attracts a good mix of domestic, Indian, tourists; holidaymakers from Europe; and backpackers and other long-term stayers. Palolem is renowned for its mile-long crescent-shaped beach.
