‘Inside The Colonnade’ belongs to the picture cycle ‘The Conservatory’, currently comprising nine pictures. 'The Conservatory' illustrates a story about a small strange town in which every building and all inhabitants are related to the conservatory. Each corner, each alley and each citizen is tied in some way to the conservatory. 'Inside The Colonnade' shows the sculpture of a woman inside the ancient high walls underneath the city.
This woman is created and rebuilt by a sculptor who is working obsessively on his sculpture for years by day and by night. He started his work on the very fist day of his arrival in the town in which he came to find refuge after a tragic accident.
