These two pretty bays are on the Greek Island of Halki (Chalki).
In the foreground is Pondamos Bay. Pondamos has a small sandy beach, with warm, shallow waters.
Beyond that is the Bay of Nimborio with the mountains of Rhodes beyond that.
In the centre of the shot you can see the Halki Cemetery Church, Ags. Soulas On the hill above the church you can see the three ruined windmills that stand guard above the village of Nimborio (the only settlement on the Island).
On the left, just off the road, you can see the charming little church of Agioi Anargiroi.
Halki is a small, charming island, part of the Dodecanese group of Greek islands, situated opposite the west coast of the Island of Rhodes.
