„Window to a troubled soul“

Pencil portrait drawing of the late Kurt Cobain best known for being the lead singer/songwriter and guitarist of the grunge rock band Nirvana.
Sadly Kurt commited suicide in a state of deep depression.
This work is inspired by a photo taken by the very talented photographer Julian Broad at the Maida Vale studios London.
The original photo was head and shoulders but i have cropped the composition to draw the viewer into the eye (the window to the soul) and try to show the inner despair of Kurt.
A great musician and song writer and is sadly missed by many.R.I.P Kurt.
