Jera Sky was a self proclaimed artist by the age of 5 and continued that amateur mentality until she sold her first piece of art in high school and became a professional. She studied drawing, fine art and art history at The University of New Mexico but eventually switched to a degree in Film. She also found that she could learn more about art and design on the internet than through classes which hindered her creativity and abilities. She completed a rigorous '365 Days of Art' where she had to complete 1 piece of art for each day of the year during 2009-2010 and posted on her blog. This was all self inflicted and helped her learn a lot about her art and herself. You may notice a lot of her art will make you smile or giggle as she's always trying to make light out of life.
She loves to make people happy and laugh!
