María Kjartans
The Icelandic Photographer María Kjartans graduated with her MFA from Glasgow school of Art in 2007 and have since been exhibiting her photography and video art all around the world and most recently took part in the Roma media archive at the Venice biennale this year.
Alongside doing her photography María collaborates with theatres, performers and musicians in UK, Iceland and Spain.
In August 2011 María won the Signature Art Award in London and has now been nominated for the Magnum Photographic price witch will be held in London in October 2011.
