A lonely boat, in the morning near Holnis, Germany. It's only a few minutes till the sun will rise for a new day.

This shot was taken in a castle in danmark, you can see an old table which was lighted by a single lamp above it.

Through the darkness still shines a light. It's coming through an old ventilation pipe and gives a beautiful spot in this sordid bunker.

Winter in Carlisle, Endland. Regarding the masses of rain the rivers Eden, Caldew and Petteril have flooded a big area of the city park. The scene is touched by the light of the declining sun.

Kids play, family take a bath and dogs are running through the water. Everything seems like an usual beach, except for some concrete buildings. Old bunkers, everywhere. Some of them are still at the beacht, some of them are taken by the tidal deep into the water, they nearly can't be seen anymore.

A scary scene - an old bunker in the north of danmark. Destroyed walls, mudd on the ground, it is dark. After a while you reach the command post, light shines through a whole in the wall. Will it take us from this scary place or is it just a false friend?

A lovely beach in the north of danmark, near Hanstholm. The northsea crashes at the beach, it's windy. Clouds are hangin' at the sky, a beautiful dark light-scenerie. A beautiful view at nature, except for an old bunker, which slipped of the cliffs. A memory of ancient times.

In 1942 the Nazis builded the Batteri II in Hanstholm, four 380mm guns which controlled the Skagerrak. Today only one of these guns is reconstructed, the other ones are ruins without life, but still full of scary sceneries. Under the old barrel I found this chair, which seems like he is waiting since 1945 for his owner who maybe escaped or got caughed by allies.

Cold water, storm, the north sea is a powerfull and strong body of water. But aktough the rough waves there can be be a little moment of silence and beauty. A little bubble can pop up and bes destroyed after seconds. A short moment, banned in a picture.

This picture was taken in january 2011 while a work experience in Carlisle in the north of England. I took it while I was waiting at a bus stop. The road was frequently used, but in this picture it looks like everything here is quiet and calm.

This picture was taken in 2010 in the north of spain in Calella, which is about 50 km away from Barcelona. It was evening while I tried to shoot some waves at the beach when this clouds moved between me and the sun and showed this awesome scene to me. In the background you can see sompe mist, which gives the castle on thop of the hill a slightly mysterious touch.
