‘Esse est percipi‘
To be is to be perceived. This is my definition of photography. A photograph comes alive when it is percieved by the environment.
A photograph creates tempers and memories, it will exist even if it physically stops to exist. A photograph informs, documents, uncovers invisibility, preserves the moment and reveals it to the world, catches and freezes the time – maybe forever!
This is the fascination of photography and the motivation for me to compose decisive moments of the world with light!
