What is ARTFLAKES?

ARTFLAKES is the place where you can order unique artworks in different kinds of products. Artworks that can rarely be bought anywhere else, handmade only for you - and that for prices so fair you will question our sanity.

What can I order at ARTFLAKES?

At ARTFLAKES independent artists, photographers, archives and other partners offer their work. Most of it you will exclusively find at ARTFLAKES, where you can order it in different kinds of products, e.g. art prints, posters or greeting cards. Everything is produced with love and care only for you and send to your home. Nice, isn't it?

What is so special about ARTFLAKES-products?

Every product – yes, even every single greeting card – is made for you individually. Made by real human beings, in Germany and with the care every artwork deserves. We do not sell mass-produced articles that can be found in every department store.

Can I sell my photos and artworks at ARTFLAKES as well?

ARTFLAKES is still in a closed testing phase – you need a special invitation to join. That sucks, but is necessary at the moment. If you leave your email address we will gladly invite you when the tests are over and all screws are fastened. Join, It's FREE!

What is the dashboard?

If you have registered on ARTFLAKES you have a dashboard. This is the centre of your account and only viewable for you. Here you can upload new pictures, edit your settings and see what is happening on ARTFLAKES this moment.

What does „follow/following“ mean?

If you follow someone this means you are interested in the artworks and activities of another member permanently. Click on „follow“ and you will see all activities of this member. Of course other members can follow you as well, becoming your followers.

What does „like“ mean?

With a click on the like-button underneath an artwork you can express that you like it and recommend it to others. You will from then on be updated on your dashboard about comments that were made regarding this artwork. All your likes are summarised on your dashboard.

Ordering at ARTFLAKES

What payment methods do you offer?

Payment on Artflakes is uncomplicated and can be made by credit card, direct debit, paypal, bill or payment in advance. Depending on the country you are ordering from, these options may be limited.

Is it possible to use different addresses for shipping and billing?

Yes. During Check-Out you can enter different addresses for shipping and billing.

Does Artflakes ship abroad as well?

ARTFLAKES is shipping worldwide. Do not forget, however, that shipping to remote islands and cottages in the middle of nowhere may take more time than the five business days we usually aim for.

What about my personal data – are they safe?

Of course your personal data are safe with us. They are only needed for the contract of purchase and are not distributed to third parties. All safety relevant data (e.g. bank details) are submitted safely via SSL encryption.

What happens after I ordered?

Shortly after you submitted your order you will receive an automatic confirmation that summarizes all important details. Should you stumble upon a mistake, please contact our customer service. It usually takes only two or three business days until you receive the confirmation that your items have been shipped. And already your doorbell is ringing!

Does Artflakes give quantity discount?

Shipping and delivery

How long does it take until my order is shipped?

Most of the products ARTFLAKES offers are custom made for you. We are constantly working on speeding up things, but individual manufacturing does take its time. Nevertheless we generally try to deliver your order within five working days - And in 95% of cases this is successful.

Does ARTFLAKES ship abroad as well?

ARTFLAKES is shipping worldwide. Do not forget, however, that shipping to remote islands and cottages in the middle of nowhere may take more time than the five business days we usually aim for.

How much is shipping?

No mater how many products you have in your shopping card, shippment will be charged only once.

* Gallery Prints and Greeting Cards are produced exclusively in Germany, that's why shipping is a bit more expensive.

Are the products packed safely?

We try our best to make sure that our products survive their journey to your front door without any damage. Thus all art prints are wrapped in protective sleeves and sturdy cardboard envelopes. Posters are rolled up in special mailing tubes.

Is it possible to use different addresses for shipping and billing?

Yes. During Check-Out you can enter different addresses for shipping and billing.

Return

Customer satisfaction guarantee – what does it mean?

Due to the outstanding quality of all our products we are convinced that you will be satisfied with everything that leaves our shop. If this should not be the case, however, we will take back every product – even if it was custom made for you – within 14 days of purchase.

Is it possible to return an art print?

Yes. Should you not be satisified with the product, you may send it back within 14 days of purchase.

How can I return a product?

  • In any case first contact our customer service before sending back items. You can choose between email or phone. Otherwise your complaint cannot be processed. Moreover, by doing that you help us discovering possible weak points of our products and clarifying misunderstandings.
  • Please wrap the item you want to return carefully and in its original packaging. ARTFLAKES does not answer for damage during transport.
  • If you send back an item because you do not like it, you have to pay for shipping yourself. Should you return a product due to quality defects or damage, ARTFLAKES will pay for transport.
