Description:

This is a different perspective of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota. From this view it appears there is room for additional scultures. The pile of rubble at the base is from the carving on the mountainside. The project leader Gutzon Borglum originally intended to have all the rubble removed. After his untimely death, before the project was completed,it was decided to leave it all as is.
