There is no river or lake shore in the Amazon where visitors don’t hear fantastic stories about the pink dolphin (Inia geoffrensis).
“The woman was enchanted,” says the riverside dweller without a shadow of a doubt, “she spent hours on the riverbank, looking at the distance, and when her belly began to show, her relatives already knew there would be a ‘Son of the Dolphin’ in the family”.
