This 10m (33ft) tall statue of Ramses II was discovered in 1820 by Giovanni Caviglia near Memphis. The statue is now located in a small indoor museum, near where it was discovered. The statue is placed lying in horizontal position in the museum. However I turned it vertical as I supposed it have been placed in its original context.
