Quote written in calligraphy: "Creativity can solve almost any problem. The creative act, the defeat of habit by originality, overcomes everything" attibuted to George Lois. Brown walnut ink on yellow canson mi-tientes paper. The word "CREATIVITY" was written with a wooden coffee stirrer, thus the rough textured capital letters. The rest of the quote consists of smaller capitals written with an edged pen and walnut ink. The asymmetrical layout, plus some random streaks and smudges of brown ink, add character to the piece. The entire piece evokes spontaneity of the kind that can happen when someone is working on an unconventional solution to a problem. A dark brown border completes the work.
