Jokulsarlon is a glacial lagoon at the southern edge of the Vatnajökull glacier and is regarded as one of Iceland’s greatest natural wonders. Huge chunks of ice regularly break off the glacier and float to the nearby sea on the glacial river. There some are laying on the black lava beach.
