Three happy Himba children _ two girls and a boy - enjoy watching a dance. The girls' ornaments include white-beaded necklaces, called ombwari, a tradition of all Himba people and metal beads backed on leather, which are embellished with cowries from Africa's Atlantic Coastline. The Himba are Herero-speaking Bantu nomads who live in the harsh, dry but starkly beautiful landscape of remote northwest Namibia.
