Das Matterhorn mit seiner besonderen pyramidischen Form ist wohl einer der bekanntesten Berge der Welt.
Der autofreie Kurort Zermatt im Wallis in der Schweiz bietet den Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen mit toller Aussicht auf diesen Berg der Alpen. Natürlich ist der Berg auch ein Ziel für Kletterer aus aller Welt.
So wie auf diesem Gemälde sieht man das Matterhorn im Frühling, wenn noch Schnee liegt, aber im Tal schon grüne Wiesen und Matten zu sehen sind.
Ein Glück, dass der Berg an diesem Tag nicht stark "rauchte". So nennt man es, wenn der Gipfel im Nebel verschwindet.
