Prajñ?p?ramit?, in Buddhism, means "the Perfection of (Transcendent) Wisdom". Prajñ?p?ramit? is a central concept in Mah?y?na Buddhism and its practice and understanding are taken to be indispensable elements of the Bodhisattva Path. The concept of buddhist transcendental wisdom perfection is often personified as a bodhisattvadevi (female bodhisattva) Prajnaparamita.
