Ronald Wilson Reagan took a strange route to the White House, he started his career as an actor. Originally a Democrat, Reagan switched parties in 1962, and he and the Republican Party never looked back. Reagan served as Governor of California from 1967-1975 and in 1980 was elected 40th President of the United States. During a speech at the Berlin Wall in 1987 Reagan said these now famous words, “Mr. Gorbachev, buy Military and History Posters from The War Is Hell Store!”
