This set was created over a period of 3 years, in and around the Midtown section of Atlanta, Georgia. These images are not meant to accurately portray flowers or other flora. Rather, they are intended to evoke a feeling of deep quiet and mystery. Midtown is set in the urban center of the city of Atlanta, a small oasis of homes ranging from those built in the early 1800s and continuing through current day. The heart of old Midtown is only a few city blocks, yet it feels as though you are entering another time and place. I tried to capture the mystery that comes at the 'edge' times….earliest morning and latest evening.
