There is a real interest in re-purposing old items into something new. For instance, I've painted landscapes on 100-year-old pieces of wood and fashioned mixed media women that I painted and then adorned with antique jewelry, velvet hat, and peacock feather! Some people call it "re-purposing." Others call it "found object" art. Sure enough, this little fellow decided he could get in on this new trend - the re-purposing, that is. "Ta da!" he says, "One minute it's my water bowl. And then, the next minute, it's my new hat." What fun!
