Just an illustration to a fictional fantasy. An lonely hero meets with an embodiment of supernatural powers. I could probably say that most of all here is an influence of Silmarillion, especially the episode where Ulmo Lord of Waters appeared before Tuor on the coast of Belegaer the Great Sea.
