A beautiful hawk is brought to Trafalgar Square to deter pigeons. The opinion on this practise differs. Some people witnessed bloody attacks on pigeons but my experience was not gruesome. From observing and talking to the hawk handler, hawk's presence alone is enough to keep pigeons away. There weren't any anywhere! This hawk is also a cameraman! It can carry tiny camera around the neck and the footage has been used in films. This is one busy bird.
