Description:

Ponderosa Point, at Bryce Canyon National Park, is one of the several natural amphitheaters carved out of eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The erosional force of frost-wedging and the dissolving power of rainwater have shaped the colorful limestone rock into unique shapes and has exposed the beautiful colors. The lookout sits at 8904 feet in elevation.
