Bryant W is a Graphic artist, Illustrator, Designer, and Painter from California.

Attracted to the other worldly, spiritual, dark, natural side of life ever since he was a young child, it’s his love for the macabre that helps to explain Bryant’s highly charged expressive and emotional hand rendered work. “My love for illustration started when I was a young boy. My family and I would go camping in Yosemite, and while there I remember riding my bike down to the little general store to buy comic books. I would spend the whole trip obsessing over the look and feel of those old printed pages while having adventures of my own in the forest.”

Having studied Graphic Arts at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA where he received an AA in Multimedia Design, Bryant then transferred to California State University Northridge, where he currently has a print of one of his paintings on permanent display at the campus. Always hungry for knowledge, inspiration and professional growth, Bryant ventured to San Diego State University where he received a BA in Graphic design.

Although Bryant’s passion lies in expressing himself through his paintings and hand rendered work, he possesses the unique ability to create pieces which easily connect with a broad audience. He has collaborated with Flat Fitty, as a featured artist, to create a custom hat for their ‘Artist Series’, as well as working in the action sports industry with companies such as C1rca Shoes and Bad Boy Brands.

About > Activities

I have always been interested in depicting within a visual form the expression of feelings and emotions. The human being is an expansively complex organism to understand biologically yet alone emotionally.

With this painting I wanted to use the canvas to show how many people trip and fall allover themselves when trying to articulate their deep disconcerting internal emotions. In this painting, I did just that by depicting a shell of a man struggling to stop from spilling his guts all over the dirty dry earth for the world to see. This Skeleton is tending the garden of his or her internal self even if the rest of the world is quantitatively unaware of the turmoil happening deep within this individual’s complex and very human mind.

Scared of infection from what the thoughts, words, dirt, and reaction that a spilling of ones guts might have the skeleton struggles to fix his world one handful at a time.

Death is but a Sweet Dream

In a world filled with dreams of how life will be after death who really knows what dreams may come.

Flowers Growing from the depths of my heart... I will weep for those who can't.

A life filled with regrets deserving to be apart of the cycle of eternal growth.

The Damned Journey of Fools who would set sail for a brighter tomorrow!
