I am an emerging artist based in North Queensland, Australia. I work in a variety of mediums and working methods; and my personal practice frequently deals with femininity, womanhood, erotica and modernity in sexual practice. I am highly interested in humanity and nature, with the grotesque or shocking sometimes forming part of my artistic inquiry.
My work demonstrates an art nouveau-inspired vision which, using a focus on the feminine, weaves illustrative and expressive line work in a pleasant style.
Reminiscent of the Art-Nouveau period with it's violent, unpredictable line work and decorative motifs, my practice takes inspiration from Alphonse Mucha and contemporary figures Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

Was beim Malen zählt, ist Freude und die Wirkung der Farbe. Malen ist die Loslösung vom Ego mit all seinen zivilisatorisch bedingten, negativen, Begleiterscheinungen. Gerade in der Malerei hat man ständig mit visuellen, handfesten Resultaten zu tun, die jedermann kritisieren kann.
