Melisa Des Rosiers

I am an illustrator living in Oakland, California. I received my BFA in 2008 from Columbia College Chicago in Illustration, and am currently working on my Masters at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I am a huge advocate of color, texture, and ink in my work. Experimentation is key for me.

I am also a pretty big dork--fantasy, role-playing games, comics, video games, documentaries, you name it. My interests have an inevitable effect on my work and I hope to create works that are both reflective of the subject matter as well as myself.
