I paint in Romantic Realism. I have a strong desire to create works of art depicting how things should be, and can be. I see art as inspirational, not journalistic (as important as journalism is :: and as journalistic art can still be).
I paint characters I would like to know and interact with.
I believe in detail, but keeping true to a painterly style. I want the illusion to be strong, but not like a photograph. I enjoy the fact that my mind selects the things it finds most important.
So far, I only prefer to paint human subjects - or scenes with human subjects as primary.
Greatly inspired by Carrivagio, Michelangelo, Titian, and De Vinci - and a few others.
