Sergio Miranda is a Patagonian Photographer who lived and worked for the last ten years switching between Buenos Aires and Comodoro Rivadavia, in Argentina. He studied arts in high school, and at the age of 17 he traveled to Buenos Aires to study Cinema and Photography. In between his courses he worked as an assistant with several photographers.
He assisted fashion photographers in studio and location productions. And also became an expert in medium format digital cameras and digital retouch, doing post-production for professional studios.
Also studied “Lighting and Camera” in the Universidad del Cine, and then worked as a camera man, D. o P. and other roles, related with advertising.
Today Sergio got back to Patagonia Argentina to work for a youth culture MAG, doing covers and the fashion issue, each month. He also works on advertising, gives photo workshops and other independent projects.
His art-works have been exhibited in contemporary art galleries in Patagonia and Buenos Aires.
