Sabrina Tibourtine wurde 1979 in Paris geboren und wuchs gut behütet im Sauerland auf. Nach mehreren Europaeskapaden, einem gescheiterten Kunstgeschichts-und-einem geglückten-Designstudium arbeitet sie seit 2005 als freiberufliche Illustratorin und Animatorin unter dem Namen "EINE DER-GUTEN" in Köln. Sabrina Tibourtine lehrte ausserdem an der Hochschule Niederrhein “Animation und Handzeichnung”. ” 2008 gewann sie den Alternativen Medienpreis für ihr Minisprech Projekt.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Melbourne, Australia in 1982, Kareem Rizk is a collage and mixed media artist, illustrator and designer who graduated from Monash University in 2004 with a Bachelor in Visual Communication. During the course, Rizk developed an appreciation for collage and explored a diverse array of mixed media techniques and mediums.

After graduating, Rizk’s creative interests began to shift towards fine art and illustration, particularly collage and mixed media art. While working as a Graphic Designer at Melbourne’s No.1 selling newspaper, The Herald Sun, his interest in collage continued to develop and by 2006 it became a focus of his endeavours.

Since his shift of focus to fine art and illustration in 2006 and his pursuit of developing his style, Rizk has earned international recognition and has been cited as one of the premier mixed media artists working today. Rizk currently lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Working mediums include collage, acrylic, oil pastel, pencil, solvent transfers and acrylic transfers. The work is highly textured and often multi-layered with a nostalgic and weathered quality. Rizk’s works can often be vibrant with colour, while others display a very refined or minimal palette.

Working methods also extend to digital collage with a very gritty and realistic display of texture and layering. The digital work began as an experiment in blurring the line between handmade collage and digital collage.

Other work includes freelance illustration, graphic design and fine art commissions for various clients including art buyers and collectors, editorial publications, galleries, university and tertiary institutes, the boutique fashion industry and the music and entertainment industry.

Exhibitions include solo shows and group shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, Miami, London, Berlin, Copenhagen (Danmarks NationalBank), West Cork (Ireland), Stockholm, Krems (Austria), Zurich, Barcelona, Madrid and Milan.

Rizk's work has been published in numerous high profile art magazines and books and his work is held in private collections worldwide.

Mein Name ist Artur Sonnengrün, ich bin ein junger begeisterter Foto Künstler aus Schwetzingen.

Geboren bin ich 1983 in der Stadt Angren, diese liegt in Usbekistan im mittleren Asien.

Seit 1990 lebe ich in Deutschland, der Rhein-Neckar-Kreis ist zu meiner neuen Heimat geworden und bietet Fotografen viel kreative Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten.

Ich fotografiere seit 6 Jahren und habe mit meiner Kamera schon viel experimentiert.

Achim Koerfer wurde am 27. Juni 1969 in Erkelenz geboren. Im Alter von acht Jahren entdeckte er seine Liebe zur Fotografie. Was zunächst spielerisch-experimentell mit analogen Mehrfachbelichtungen begann, entwickelte er im Laufe der Jahre zu der künstlerischen Technik, die sein Werk bis heute charakterisiert. Als Fotokünstler setzt sich Koerfer intensiv mit drängenden gesellschaftlichen Themen auseinander. In seinen Werkreihen inszeniert er diese Themen in neu- und einzigartigen Bildwelten, die mit starken Farben polarisieren, zur Reflexion anregen und einen Sichtwechsel bewirken wollen.


Achim Koerfer was born in the German town of Erkelenz on June 27, 1969. At the age of eight, he discovered his love for photography. What began as playful experimentation with multiple exposures using a conventional camera developed over the years into the singular artistic technique that has become the hallmark of his work. In his work as fine art photographer Koerfer addresses urgently topical social concerns. In his photo sequences he exposes these issues in terms of novel and compelling images of vivid and vibrant colors to polarize opinion, evince reflection and a shift of perspective.

Greetings... that sounds like something Gandalf would say, doesn't it?
Well, I thought it best to say so, since there is no knowing whether it is a good morning or good evening where you are.

There is also no knowing who you might be, at least not for me...!
I might sound like an old granny now, but the internet really is a miracle. You're propably not from the same country as me (Sweden) and your culture is bound to be different. My culture is a shy and silent one, but I try my best to be brave and loud.

So - every day culture. How big breakfast should be (and how chocolaty) or how late dinner can be eaten (and how fast) is only the most miniscule of differences in our experiences of life.

That is why I find it so interesting... what do YOU, stranger, see in my art?

Does my colour for joy look like death in your eyes?
Is the motif something you've seen often or never before? Are we kindred, beyond nationality or culture, in what we find beautiful and important?

I am a Belarusian digital artist who has been self taught, but I am constantly exploring new areas styles and techniques. My passion has always been design however, especially photorealism. Since 2006 I have specialized in the fields of photo manipulation, but I am always trying to broaden my skills into other areas such as matte painting and digital painting.

About 3 years ago I seriously discovered the fun of photography. It started rather innocent but right now it's part of every-day's life.

My photo's are very basic. I like to keep it plain and simple although I prefer a wonderful blur...
I try to show you everyday stuff in a slightly different way. I think my 'blue-period' is coming to its end. This doesn't mean I don't like blue anymore but I guess you will see other colours too in my latest work.
