Born and raised in Vancouver, BC I found myself closely connected to the mountains and associated lifestyles of cycling, camping, hiking, and snow sports. Documenting these activities and the people involved has always been my focus.
I relocated to Calgary for my schooling and my largest fear was the separation I would face from the Coast Mountains. This fear drove me to embrace the foothills and moved my attention closer into the Rocky Mountains and my focus began to expand, documenting the landscapes, forces of nature and animals.
Now that I am back in my home of Vancouver, I feel I have brought a broader understanding of environments back with me and a larger understanding of visual communication.
Focusing on innovative concepts, combined with a meticulous attention to detail I seek to portray the emotion and feeling of the environments through my images.
