Eine Mistbiene, Eristalis tenax, auf der weißen Blüte der Wilden Möhre, Daucus carota subsp. carota. Die Fühlerborste ist gut zu erkennen (borstenförmige, aus verschmolzenen Fühlergliedern bestehende Endteil des Fühlers vieler Fliegen). Es ist ein Weibchen, denn die Augen sind deutlich voneinander getrennt. Bei Männchen stoßen Sie an der Stirn zusammen.
