Bursting Soap Bubbles by Fabian Oefner

Switzerland-based photographer Fabian Oefner must have a lot of patient. In his photo series Iridient he explores the art of bubble-bursting using high-speed flash photography. It took him a couple of hundred shots to capture the moment when the bubble ruptures. For the bubbles he used a funnel of a sugar dispenser to create the soapy air pockets, to achieve the famous spectrum of colors for what bubbles are known for, he placed lights around the bubbles from every possible angle. Gorgeous!
