The illustrations of France Brassard, born in Canada in 1963, perfectly fit into Christmas time: In most of her pictures featured at ARTFLAKES you can find Santa Claus.
Brassard discoverd her passion for illustration and painting quite early: At the tender age of five she found a tiny picture book in her christmas stocking, whose illustrations seem to have fascinated her deeply. She decided that some day she would design her own picture book.
After finishing her studies of graphic and interior design she worked at the Association of Illustrators in Quebec for some time – until she in fact started creating her own books. By now her pictures are featured in several publications all over the world.
