Beautiful watercolor paintings by American artist Danny Quirk. In his paintings people literally reveal their inner self by self-dissection, showing inferior muscles of the back revealing the spinal chord, musculature of the neck and trunk, and their heart. Amazing!

My anatomical works combine classic poses, in dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, with a very contemporary twist… illustrating what’s underneath the skin, and the portrayed figure dissects a region of their body to show the structures that lay beneath.
