Dollar Store Animals by Doug Pedersen
Artist Doug Pedersen decided to create a collection of art only using items purchased at a dollar store. By clothing plastic animals with melted crayons, which he both bought at the dollar store, he created his colorful series of little sculptures called “Dollar Store Animals”.
Doug Pedersen is an artist and art director based in Minneapolis. His primary medium is digitally based collages. Using a variety of techniques he combines discarded mass produced items, organic materials, and often other elements.
