Merve Morkoç, also known by her pseudonym Lakormis, creates beautiful and odd anatomical illustrations, paintings and street art. Her work ranges from themes of dreams and gore, while her style represents contrasts and often mirrors the macabre, unknown and sometimes frightening. Based in Istanbul, Morkoç’s work can be found across many buildings, billboards and walls across the city as well as in various galleries.
