Melting animal sculptures by Takeshi Kawano
Global warming is affecting many parts of the world. Japanese artist Takeshi Kawano created three sculptures that represent the impact of global warming on animals, and how they are practically disappearing right before our eyes.
Takeshi Kawano has created striking sculptures that depict the major effect of global warming: the increasing global temperatures and meltdown of the ice caps, disappearance of various wildlife due to habitat changes and the destruction of the eco-system. In three sculptures of a deer, a polar bear and a penguin he portrays these effects by showing them slowly melting away.
