Playing with pencil shavings
Artist Marta Altés creates adorable drawings in which ink figures interact with colorful and textured pencil shavings. By repurposing the shavings, Altés transformes objects that others see as trash into beautiful and integral elements within each piece, including a giant wave, a flamenco skirt, a lion’s mane and a mohawk.
