Jocelyn Allen: One is not like the other

Do you look like your mother or more like your father? Or like your Granddad? Although everybody has certain similarities to their relatives, we all look different. This is what Jocelyn Allen tried to find out with her photographic project “One is not like the other”.

Here she slipped into the clothes of her grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and her sisters and arranged herself in a place and position that is typical of the selected person. And yes, the person she tries to represent is visible indeed – but then it becomes obvious as well, that there is more to our individuality than just clothes and places. See the full project on her website.
