Truffle McFurry tells the story:
“ As you know, we had a lovely family trip to the Cabo de Gata 3 weeks ago. I enjoyed so much the sea and the boats and the mountains there!
In the lovely village of La Isleta del Moro, there was a little park above the town, with fabulous mosaics. I asked Miki to paint me in front of one... the one she chose was not the one I preferred, but Miki said the one I preferred, with hundred of colourful fishes swimming in the sea, was too much work. So we chose the simplest one.
It was the first time that I saw a sea star. I thought stars were only in the sky, and that these stars there had fallen from the sky! I was so excited but so sad too, feeling that stars belong in the sky and should not fall on the earth! I even think that guys in love should not try to catch them for their sweet hearts! But Miki explained me that these were sea stars, and that they live in the sea. I loved that!
Here is the painting. I asked Miki to make it look like as if I had built little mountains with the stones of the Cabo de Gata, but to be honest, the stones were framing the mosaic! It looked really very pretty! The background is the mosaic, but Miki painted it as if it was the real landscape, but with the strong colours of the mosaic!
