The church of St Nicholas at Remenham in Berkshire. This picturesque church and the suirrounding houses of the village sit close to the banks of the River Thames.The Thames Path (a long distamce trail) passes close by. Remenham is also close to the start of the Henley Royal Regatta course at Temple Island. The church is Norman in origin and records exist of the first rector in 1076. It also received a mention in the Domesday Book (1086). However, the building as we see it dates from 1870.
