Just a bit of fun really. My Granddad used to say this 'nonsense rhyme' to me as a kid – I used to like it, but I'm sure I've not got it quite right... oh well, not to worry, it'll do.
_One fine morning in the middle of the night,
two dead boys got up to fight,
back to back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other,
two deaf policemen heard this noise
and came and shot those two dead boys._
It's an old poem and sounds to me that the cops have always been a bit stupid – quite appropriate in the UK at the moment for various reasons.
