Harald escapes from Constantinople with his treasure, by forcing his ships over the large chain blocking the harbour from the strait to the Black Sea. This illustration appeared in a childrens book telling the story of the last real viking king, Harald Hardraada, who fought his way to the throne of Norway, but ended his days in a battle at Stampford Bridge in England. The book was published in Denmark by Gyldendal.
