Varanasi-once known as Banaras and Kashi, is a historical city in northern India. The city is sacred to Hindus and also one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. It's also among most popular pilgrimage of India.
Varanasi is not just about holy men and temples.... I found the early morning and the birds very interesting. These are Common Black headed Gulls who folk to Varanasi every year.
