Made during an exploratory photo walk in and around the Houthaven (Wood harbor) in Amsterdam - the area is under development.
Right next to the temporary-looking building of the Cartesius Lyceum is Het 4e Gymnasium (The 4th Grammar School) which does not look temporary at all, but instead a very nice piece of architecture. I could not resist having a bit of fun with that.
On the outside of the building a lot of wood is used (appropriate for the wood harbor area!), interspersed with windows and brightly-colored panels in a seemingly random variation. The windows are reflective, of course, but the shiny colored wall panels are almost as reflective. Here, the windows are closer together, so the wall feels not so solid.
