A beautiful morning in Karakul, the small town on the shore of the same-named lake Kara-Kul. A few men are getting together to discuss something, maybe some work that needs to be done. A lot of people here are not employed, but do odd jobs to earn a bit, or community work; many are cattle (yak) farmers. The dark clouds in the background dump their snow only on the distant mountains - at least for now - while the town is bathed in bright spring sunshine.
The window in the corner (between the doors) is interesting: it has panes of mirrored glass - something quite unusual here in Karakul.
