Poor King Henry, his marriage of convience was to an ugly women. At least in his mind. He found her unattractive, and incapable in the bedroom. Really? well he was King afterall and clearly it was all about him.
While I was working on her portrait, I found her feature beautiful, and upon reading a bit of her history, her spirit even more beautiful. The humiliation that she must have felt is beyond my comprehension yet her face carries it's own dignity.
