Description:

Caricature of the great Norwegian hero Olaf Tryggvason. Painted in Photoshop CS3 using several groups of layers and standard brushes. I did work first on the face with a very big eyes, creating a caricature style between the realism and cartoon where the sight and facial expression are very important. Once I drawed the face and the arms, I started to add the rest of the elements, the helm and the leather strips. All the process was painted with standard brushes and the skin tone was retouched with variations, looking for a more bronze color.
