Der Old Man of Storr gehört wohl zu den Pflichtorten, wenn man auf die Isle of Skye nach Schottland fährt. Auch aus dem Kinofilm "Prometheus" ist dieser Ort bekannt. Besonders zum Sonnenaufgang, wie auf diesem Bild kommt die Landschaft richtig schön zur Geltung, was durch die dünne Schnee-/Eisschicht noch hervorgehoben wird.
