from the gallery of Ian Lewis
Description:

A view of the River Wye as it flows through the Wye Valley seen from Symonds Yat Rock in Gloucestershire. The 5th longest river in the UK (134 miles), the Wye flows from its source near Plynlimon in Ceredigion in mid-Wales to the sea at thr Severn Estuary at Chepstow. The Wye Valley at this point is a popular tourist destination, with views over Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. The valley, unsurprisingly, is also a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
